Jamia Nadwiyya Training College was established in 1995 with the approval of the Government of Kerala. It is affiliated with the University of Calicut and has received recognition from the Southern Regional Committee of NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) to offer the B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) course. At the time of its establishment, there were no other government-aided or unaided training colleges in Malappuram District, making Jamia Nadwiyya Training College a significant addition to the educational landscape. The college boasts an affluent library and seven well-equipped laboratories for Educational Psychology, Social Studies, Science, and Work Experience. It also provides dedicated rooms for physical education and art education. The college campus includes a spacious playground that offers facilities for various sports and games. The college has a strength of 200 students and a faculty of 16 members who teach five optional subjects: English, Arabic, Social Science, Natural Science, and Physical Science.
